The best places to live, according to a new survey, are in Switzerland, Canada, Austria and New Zealand. The top 50 cities in the world are ranked for quality of life (pdf), as compared with New York City, which came in 46 on the list. The top US cities on the list are Honolulu, San Fransisco, and Boston.
